Becoming Homegirl Hygienist

Rachael graduated from Newcastle University with a first in the DHDT Higher Education Diploma in 2013. Since January 2014 she has been working in practice in Northern Ireland and although working in TEN different dental practices at one point is now based at Moira Cosmetic Dental and Bupa Dental Care in Glengormley.

I honestly believe I can make you happier and healthier by giving you the tips, tools and information you need to keep your mouth healthy and I want you to be able to start doing this at home.
— Rachael ~ Homegirl Hygienist

Although a fully trained Dental Therapist, Rachael now mostly focuses on keeping your gums healthy. Rachael is passionate about Dental Implants, stabilising Gum Disease and patient education and through this passion for providing her patients with as much information as possible to improve their oral health, that Homegirl Hygienist was born.
